1. Service description
nūr (nurteach.com) is a classroom management platform for teachers in the middle east, supporting IB MYP, IGCSE, and National curriculum frameworks. Features include grade tracking, quiz building, live sessions, and AI powered reports.
2. Subscription & trial
New accounts receive a 15-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the platform.
Two billing options are available: $12/month (billed monthly) or $99/year (billed annually, equivalent to a discount over the monthly rate). You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
3. Data retention policy
Active accounts: All data is retained for the lifetime of the subscription. Live session slide images and uploaded media are automatically deleted after 165 days from the session date to manage storage.
Lapsed accounts (subscription expired or trial ended without upgrade):
- Day 30: Warning email sent — account deletion in 60 days.
- Day 60: Final warning email — account deletion in 30 days.
- Day 90: All data permanently deleted and account closed.
Deleted data cannot be recovered. You may export your data at any time while your account is active.
4. Data ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into nūr, including student records, grades, quiz content, and reports. nūr does not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than providing the service.
5. Student data
nūr stores minimal student information — names and academic performance data only. No student email addresses, ID numbers, or personal contact information is required. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents and guardians in accordance with your school's data protection policy.
6. AI features
nūr uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate quiz questions and parent messages. Uploaded documents for AI quiz generation are not stored — only the resulting questions are saved. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by the teacher before use.
7. Payments
Payments are processed securely via PayPal. nūr does not store payment card details. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
The platform is intended for professional educational use by teachers. You may not use nūr to store sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for classroom management, or to process data of students under 13 without verified parental consent.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

٢. الاشتراك والفترة التجريبية
تحصل الحسابات الجديدة على فترة تجريبية مجانية مدتها 15 يوماً مع وصول كامل لجميع الميزات. بعد انتهاء الفترة التجريبية، يلزم اشتراك مدفوع للاستمرار في استخدام المنصة.
يتوفر خياران للفوترة: 12 دولاراً شهرياً (تُحصَّل شهرياً) أو 99 دولاراً سنوياً (تُحصَّل سنوياً، بسعر مخفّض مقارنة بالاشتراك الشهري). يمكنك الإلغاء في أي وقت من إعدادات حسابك، ويصبح الإلغاء نافذاً في نهاية فترة الفوترة الحالية.
٣. سياسة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات
الحسابات النشطة: يتم الاحتفاظ بجميع البيانات طوال مدة الاشتراك. يتم حذف صور شرائح الجلسات المباشرة والوسائط المرفوعة تلقائياً بعد 165 يوماً من تاريخ الجلسة لإدارة مساحة التخزين.
الحسابات المنتهية (انتهى الاشتراك أو انتهت الفترة التجريبية دون ترقية):
- اليوم 30: إرسال بريد إلكتروني تحذيري — حذف الحساب بعد 60 يوماً.
- اليوم 60: بريد إلكتروني للتحذير الأخير — حذف الحساب بعد 30 يوماً.
- اليوم 90: حذف جميع البيانات نهائياً وإغلاق الحساب.
لا يمكن استرداد البيانات المحذوفة. يمكنك تصدير بياناتك في أي وقت طالما حسابك نشط.
٤. ملكية البيانات
تحتفظ بالملكية الكاملة لجميع البيانات التي تدخلها في نور، بما في ذلك سجلات الطلاب والدرجات ومحتوى الاختبارات والتقارير. لا تبيع نور بياناتك أو تشاركها أو تستخدمها لأي غرض آخر غير تقديم الخدمة.
٥. بيانات الطلاب
تخزّن نور الحد الأدنى من معلومات الطلاب, الأسماء وبيانات الأداء الأكاديمي فقط. لا يُطلب عنوان البريد الإلكتروني أو رقم الهوية أو معلومات الاتصال الشخصية للطالب. أنت مسؤول عن الحصول على الموافقة المناسبة من الآباء والأوصياء وفقاً لسياسة حماية البيانات في مدرستك.
٦. ميزات الذكاء الاصطناعي
تستخدم نور واجهة برمجة تطبيقات Anthropic Claude لتوليد أسئلة الاختبارات ورسائل أولياء الأمور. لا يتم تخزين المستندات المرفوعة لتوليد الاختبارات بالذكاء الاصطناعي, يتم حفظ الأسئلة الناتجة فقط. يُقدَّم المحتوى الذي يُنشئه الذكاء الاصطناعي كنقطة بداية ويجب مراجعته من قبل المعلم قبل الاستخدام.
٧. المدفوعات
تُعالَج المدفوعات بأمان عبر PayPal. لا تخزّن نور تفاصيل بطاقات الدفع. رسوم الاشتراك غير قابلة للاسترداد إلا عند الاقتضاء بموجب القانون المعمول به.
٨. الاستخدام المقبول
المنصة مخصصة للاستخدام المهني التعليمي من قِبَل المعلمين. لا يجوز استخدام نور لتخزين بيانات شخصية حساسة تتجاوز ما هو ضروري لإدارة الفصل الدراسي، أو لمعالجة بيانات الطلاب دون سن 13 عاماً بدون موافقة موثقة من الوالدين.
٩. التغييرات على هذه الشروط
قد نحدّث هذه الشروط من وقت لآخر. سيتم إبلاغك بالتغييرات الجوهرية عبر البريد الإلكتروني. استمرار استخدام المنصة بعد الإشعار يُعدّ قبولاً للشروط المحدّثة.
